ParentsParents are the principle influence in children's lives. Adventures Preschool recognizes the importance of the child's family and develops ways to work effectively with families. Parents are welcomed visitors at any time and are encouraged to be contributors to our program. For example: visiting and helping in the classroom, taking field trips, joining in at parties, or sharing a meal or snack.

Parent workshops provide a wonderful insight to the spectrum of child and adult development. Communication between parents and teachers is the foundation that provides children with the opportunity for enjoyment and learning.
In our center, parents are informed about the program through daily notes, phone calls, newsletters, bulletin boards, e-mails and interactions with parents during arrival and departure times. Each parent will have a labeled mailbox where all notes and written information will be placed.
Conferences are scheduled twice a year and as needed to discuss your child's development. Infant parents will have conferences scheduled quarterly. All parents will receive a written report at these times. Our program employs the services of other disciplines — medical, social services, psychological, nutritional —through consultation and referral whenever necessary.
Parent input is welcomed and valued. If there is a suggestion or comment that you would like to share with us, please feel free to stop by the office and place your note in our suggestion box. We are happy to hear what you think.
